Ultiverse, one of Morningstar Ventures’ long-term portfolio companies, announced a successful strategic investment round, raising $4M at a $150M valuation. Investors of the project include IDG Capital, Sequoia, Binance Labs, DeFiance Capital, Animoca Brands, GSR, Morningstar Ventures, and others. The project will use the funding further to build out its AI-powered platform for Web3 games.
In 2022, Morningstar Ventures made its first investment in Ultiverse and has worked closely with the team ever since. From the beginning, the Ultiverse team and their CEO, Frank Ma, have worked at a high level, continuously developed new products, and grown a passionate Web3 community.
