Product Update: The First Gaming Guild Dedicated To The Elrond Ecosystem

We are thrilled to unveil another one of our strategic initiatives at Morningstar Ventures, namely — egld.gg — the very first gaming dedicated to the Elrond community.

As long-term Elrond advocates and investors, Morningstar Ventures continuously pushes the boundaries to evolve the ecosystem we all love, and we are certain that gaming will play a significant role in the ecosystem’s long term growth — egld.gg is here to accelerate the path that lays ahead!

P2E gaming & guilds:

Since 2021, GameFi (P2E) has taken the world by storm and created life-changing opportunities for millions of gamers, while also serving as a great onboarding mechanism for the crypto space in general.

The introduction of NFTs and in-game ownership will transform the gaming industry (even more so than it has already) as we are months away from the first AAA games entering the space. This new generation of GameFi will attract users because of the earning opportunities and bring back the most essential element of gaming — having fun while playing awesome games!

In order to facilitate participation and adoption of P2E games built on Elrond, the traditional concept of gaming guilds/clans has to be rethought.

What is egld.gg?

Egld.gg is the first web3 gaming guild dedicated to the Elrond ecosystem. It will spearhead the P2E movement by combining gaming communities, investments, education, and scholarships (lending of in-game assets), all in one place. Egld.gg will be a hub for Elrond gamers, where they can get early access to the latest and hottest games, earn rewards, contribute to interesting ideas, make friends and have fun. We are planning to go a step further than other guilds and have special events reserved for Elrond gamers, an engaging mechanism for the lending of digital assets and NFTs, as well as meet and greets with famous gamers and founders. We plan to elevate the game.

We are not just building a community, we are building a movement. Not all ideas are final, so we will also rely on you (our early members) to help us shape and achieve our vision.
